Admission Procedure for Malaysian Universities & Colleges
 

 

All International students are required to read the rules and guidelines of their selected education institution to ensure all information is complete and they meet the admission criteria. 

 

There are essentially three (3) basic steps to the admission application process:

STEP B: SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

STEP C: VISA APPROVAL LETTER

 

 

STEP A: Submission of Online Assessment Form;

 

All students are advised to submit a FREE online Admission Assessment form, available on this website. This will help us assess your suitability for your desired course for your desired university / college. If we feel that you seem to qualify for your selected course / institution, we will start your admission process otherwise we will try to suggest you an alternate choice.

 

 

STEP B: Submission of Documents;

 

Once initial assessment has sucessfully been completed, it is time to start your admission procedure. International students are advised to read the requirements for admission of their selected university / college, carefully and ensure all information submitted is complete.

 

Although the required documents may vary from institution to institution, usually the following documents are required by most of the education institutions of Malaysia;

 

  1. Obtain two International Application Forms from our office, and complete them.

  2. Complete the form sand attach the following documents:

  • To apply, you have to make payment of the required amount for application and student visa processing fee. TYou will send this amount to your selected university / college.

  • 8 recent passport sized photographs (4cm X 5.5cm) with name and passport number written on the reverse side;

  • Certified true copies of all academic qualifications;

  • One (1) full set of attested photocopy of your passport – include all pages, including blank pages. (The passport must have a validity period of at least 12 months);

  • An updated resume (for purposes of MBA and master programme applications only);

  • Two references (for purposes of MBA and master programme applications only);

  • English translations of all documents submitted;

  • Completed Medical Report

  • Any other documents required by your selected university or college.

  • You may also like to submit your Accommodation Application with these documents.

 

We will help & guide you in the preparation and submission of these documents. So please don't worry!

 

 

STEP C: Letter of Acceptance

 

Upon receipt of application form, required fees and relevant supporting documents, as explained above, your selected university or college will post and email a copy of the Letter of Acceptance to us for the students,if the International Student meets the entry requirements.

 

International Student Department of your selected university or college will submit the documents to the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and Malaysian Immigration Department to begin processing the Visa Approval Application.This process will take approximately 8 weeks.

 

 

STEP D: Visa Approval Letter

 

When the International Office, of your selected university or college, has received the visa approval for the student, they will ask the student to send them the tuition fees. Once the required fees have been credited into your selected university's or college’s bank account via Telegraphic Transfer or Bank Draft, it will courier the original Letter of Acceptance and the Original Visa Approval Letter to the eligible international student.

 

Then the remaining visa process will be done in Pakistan.

 

 

General Entry Requirements for Malaysian Universities & Colleges;
 
 

Master Degree Level Courses Admission Requirements: 

A recognized years bachelor degree. The required grades depend upon the course you are applying for. You also need to have passed a recognized English proficiency test, like IELTS with 6.5 overall score bands.  For cetain degrees (like MBA), you may be asked to provide at least two references.

 

Bachelor Degree Level Courses Admission Requirements: 

A Uni. Foundation , STPM (2 principles), Pre-University, A-Level, or equivalent qualification. You may also need to have passed a recognized English proficiency test, like IELTS with 6.0 overall score bands. However, sometimes universities do not emphasize on IELTS, for cetain degrees.

 

Foundation, Certificate & Diploma Level Courses Admission Requirements: 

SPM, O-Levels, or equivalent (3 Credits), Materic

 

The Miedical courses: 

Entry requirements of a bachelor degree in some medical decipline is greater than other degree courses. This is both regarding your grades and IELTS bands.

 
 
 
When to Apply

 

For most of the undergraduate courses, there are usually three to four intakes in year in Jan.,  April, July & Sep. However please NOTE the intakes date for any two universities hardly coincide i.e. there are different intakes for different courses for different universities. This means that you can almost always get an intake close to your desired starting date.

 

You must apply at least four months in advance of your course starting date.
